Vice: North Korean Forced Laborers in Poland

That North Korean Slave Labour is used in logging operations & construction sites in Eastern Russia is no surprise, but the idea that forced labour is in operation within the European Union is staggering, even more so that it is with the compliance of the Polish Labour & imigration ministries who regularly grant work permits & visas to North Koreans who then work gruelling schedules in poor conditions for no pay - their wages instead being funnelled directly back to the Workers Party of North Korea. And this isn’t a new development - as the Vice documentary below discovered, DPRK workers have been used in EU-subsidised Shipyards & Luxury Apartment Construction for at least five years.
