Not only does this glorious house have a bad-ass address, it’s also one of the most complete and pure examples of domestic British modernist architecture I’ve seen. It reminds me an awful lot of a house I often mourn missing out on in Amsterdam, and like that one I am adding Doomsday Gardens to my inspiration for the house I hope I’ll get to build one day - the proportions, the quietness of the external materials and the warmth of the interior surfaces are all just lovely.
