A Keyboard for Working Aboard the Boat
65% Board
Having switched to the new 75% board I got from kbdfans - I wanted something to use when I am working from the boat, and so I popped a new set of keycaps on my Drop 65% board, gave the case a dodgy paint-job and added some foam insulation to help dampen the sound. It’s by no means perfect, but it’ll be much more usable than the hell which is typing on the built-in keyboard on my Mac.
This keyboard thing is such a rabbit hole, but it’s fun to learn how these things are to made and to tweak them to suit ones needs, and to have a distraction from… you know, everything.
